WEDNESDAY, APRIL 9
DOORS: 7:00PM | SCREENING: 7:30PM

In his 20+ years as JDC’s Medical Director in Ethiopia, Dr. Rick Hodes has cared for 100’s of young people with spinal tuberculosis, an illness that leaves its victims “with spines that look like question marks.”

No one knows why Ethiopia has a high rate of the occurrence of spinal TB.

With surgery, the illness is treatable.

On April 9, please join us for To Save a Life, an evening dedicated to the work of Dr. Hodes and JDC in Ethiopia.

FEATURING:

A screening of 'Making the Crooked Straight', a 30-minute HBO documentary film looking at the work of Dr. Hodes.

A Q&A with a special guest speaker about JDC’s work in Ethiopia.

Vegetarian appetizers and complimentary drinks will be included.

EVENT CHAIRS: Joshua Bauer & Elana Lavi

LOCATION: Highland Park Village Theater
This event is planned for a young adult audience by the Entwine Dallas planning group.
